10/10 Amazing atmosphere, staff and owners. Grace & Duncan are an absolute pleasure, really genuine and do an amazing... job at running the place. Hats off to them for making the Bailey Head, what is in my opinion the best pub in Oswestry. Lots of hard work goes into being a premises owner, having to live at your work is taxing and takes its toll, but these two really do an amazing job and I can't express how great of a pub it is. Fantastic selection of gins and real ales, dog friendly pub, all the staff are friendly and really know their alcohol! It's one of those places you can go regularly and get to know everyone, or just pop in alone and not feel out of place or awkward.read more

Fantastic pub! great choice of local ales of all types, ciders, gins and more. Super friendly bar staff are always happy to help and recommend from their ever changing range of draft and cask ales. They also offer some bar snacks, cheese boards and pies if you're hungry. Couldn't recommend it more!

Awesome! I first visited this pub in November of last year & couldn't wait to get back here. Up to six cask ales at any one time with eight craft ales on too. The landlord knows his beers & always has something available to suit most tastes, I'm confident you won't be disappointed. To enhance it further, the staff are extremely knowledgeable, warm & very friendly. It's not been a consistent CAMRA pub entry for nothing. Situated on the square just in front of the market, it is centrally located & the perfect place to unwind for an hour or two. Highly recommended.
