Boon Kriek Mariage Parfait 375ml bottle 8% 🇧🇪

A rich, decadent but perfectly balanced cherry sour made from 18-month of lambic with 400g per litre of overripe cherries. The result is a deeply fruity, cherry red beer with notes of scrumpy cider, oak, marzipan and, of course, cherry. There’s lots of perceived sweetness but it’s bone dry on the finish leaving just the aromatics of the fruit behind. It ages beautifully, losing some of it’s fruitiness to mellow out like to a fruity Champagne-like beer.
