Thornbridge Tap Takeover

Thornbridge have brought out some fresh versions of Jaipur for its 19th birthday, what better to put them on with a Tap Takeover of 12 Thornbridge beer on 5 July. The planned lineup is:CaskJaipur Union 5.9% The version of Jaipur brewed in the section of Burton Union recently rescued by Thornbridge Jaipur DDH 5.9% After launching as part of the 17th Anniversary of Jaipur in 2020 – Thornbridge have brought it back to celebrate Jaipur’s 19th birthday. DDH Jaipur uses the same recipe as Jaipur but is double dry hopped creating an even punchier tropical fruit character. Jaipur Noir 5.9% For this special batch Thornbridge have added an array of dark malts to the brew to give this version it’s unique look alongside the classic Jaipur flavours. It has been hugely fun to make and we hope everyone enjoys drinking it. Fonio 4.5% ‘Brewing for Impact’ is the creation of Brooklyn Brewery’s multi-award; winning Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, and comes as he celebrates his 30th anniversary with the brewery. It has been created with Fonio, an ancient grain that has thrived in West Africa for over 5,000 years due to its drought resistance and ability to grow in nutrient-poor soil without fertilizers and pesticides. It supports soil regeneration, while providing a vital source of income for smallholder West African farms, which are predominantly female-led. Bowie 3.4% A name of Scottish origin, Bowie would be given to someone with blonde hair and seemed like a great fit for this blonde ale. This is a classic example of the style; with a light and joyful aroma leading to floral and citrus notes on the palate, it is fantastically refreshing.KeykegQuiet Storm Sabro 5.5% Quiet Storm is a unique series of single hop showcases. Using some of our favourite hop varieties, the ambition of this project is to really highlight the full spectrum and capability of each individual variety through precise application at different stages of brewing. Green Mountain 4.3% A beautiful hazy Vermont Session IPA. Generously dry hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops, creating a hugely aromatic and juicy fruit bomb. Chiron 5% Thornbridge use a curated selection of classic US hops for their distinctive aromas of pine and citrus. These are added onto a foundation of the finest malt to give this beer an inviting light amber hue and a touch of caramel sweetness. Flavours of orange and peach dance on the palate before it culminates with a refreshing hop bite. Thornbridge X SALT Greenock Cut 8.4% Export Scotch Ale. With a deep amber appearance, this beer is all-enveloping with malt-forward flavours of caramel and biscuit. Notes of raisin and honey lay just beneath the surface, with a beautiful boozy warmth, making this a beer to sip and savourKegBrock 4.1% Creamy Nitro Stout. A velvety, dark and exceptionally smooth stout. Soft treacle flavours are complemented with smoky notes and a full body. Heff 5% This classic Bavarian-style wheat beer is hazy and true to style, bursting with effervescent flavours of clove, banana and bubblegum AM:PM 4.5% Gluten Free. AM:PM is a session IPA, allowing you to enjoy all the flavours and body of an IPA at a lower ABV. Bags of tropical fruit aromas, pineapple, tangerine, guava and passion fruit are balanced with a chewy, honeyed malt character.
